Hello Gary and Sharon,

We will just be up for Sept 4,5, and return to Florida on the 6th. May be next time.

What lot do you have. How soon do you plan on Building? We love the views and the peacefulness there.

I could not email you personally because your email address did not come through. Mind is dolphinjas@mindspring.com Now if and when you email you will get a message that I have blocked mail or you are in a spam filter. In the Header of your email put the Ridges and I should recognize it.

Nice to here from you.

Hello newcomers Deb & Kelley, welcome! Gary & I have owned in The Ridges for 5 years now, we're lot 14. We had our house sold in Florida but the buyer lost funding...we are still hopeful and will build our "Battle Creek" log home (a South Pittsburgh co) as soon as we can get out of here. We were just up there the other day, weather beautiful and not too hot, evenings cool and comfortable. It would be fun to meet other owners in the near future. Stay in touch, The Haars'

Hi Sharon and Gary,

We can't wait to get back up there for a visit. Sorry about your sale falling through. We are in Jacksonville and will have two homes to sell before we can move. The market is scarey. Hope it does not go any lower. Kelley has looked at several builders. Not that close to picking one yet. So excited for you. I agree it would be great to meet future neighbors in the future. Your lot is huge!!!

Keep us posted.

Hi everyone,

No building yet. We did buy the adjoining lot 21(we have 24 now). Best of luck with your sale! Kelley said he is buying me a "well" for my birthday in March. Have you put your well in already? If so, how did it go?

Hello everyone,

Kelley and I just added lot 21 to our 24. We will be putting our well in soon. Has anyone done that yet? Any problems? Good Luck to Jeff an Yvett on selling. Can't wait to get started. Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! With regards to well water, the developer has a well that supplies all of the water for the irrigation of several acres of lawn and the landscaping around the front entrance. In addition, we have personal knowledge of 5 wells that were installed in the month of September that met all requirements for residential water volume. As is typical on the Cumberland Plateau, a tank may be necessary to balance out the periods of high user demand. Hopefully, that helps answer some questions. Thanks to all and Happy New Year!

We're now living in TN, sold our FL home - yea! We've applied for our septic tank permit & electric, so we'll be clearing our lot within the next week or so. We should have complete dry-in by end of Feb. & moving in to our new home in April. We're looking forward to meeting our new neighbors, stop by our lot whenever you are in the area. Happy Holidays!

Hey guys, we look forward to meeting you both, our lot is #14. We’ll be available to meet you at The Ridges and you can call Gary’s cell # 407.920.0556, and we’ll be looking forward to it. We’ll ask for snow, it has snowed 4-5” twice this year…we had a white Christmas which is what I ordered and reminded me so of my home “Colorado”.

Hello Jeff & Yvette, as well as Billy and Peggy and Kelley and Deb. The weather finally cooperated and we cleared the lot, graded the driveway and are well on our way. Well, septic and foundation are next. We hope to have walls up and roof on by end of March - yea!! Can't wait to see it all form, but patience is a virtue. I understand about 3 or 4 others will be building this year so we'll have some neighbors soon. Take care everyone and stop by whenever you are in the neighborhood.

Congratulation Gary & Sharon! I know that you have been waiting a long time for this to happen. You must share lots of pictures as your home progress. Deb & I are planning to start ours in a little over 2 years, but I must say we are getting very impatient and might start sooner. Good luck on the rest of the construction
