Outside Magazine Selects Chattanooga (Chattanooga Real Estate)

Outside Magazine, the very popular outdoor adventure publication, has selected Chattanooga as the second best city to live in the East, behind Portland, Maine. Maine? OK then. That makes Chattanooga the #1 favorite in the southeast and Portland # 1 in northeast.
"Chattanooga is the second-best city in the East, at least according to Outside magazine. The Scenic City came in behind Portland, Maine, Outside reports in its August issue. “We started out by looking at some of the big-picture ideas and socio-economic factors like unemployment and median home value, and percentage of the population with a four-year degree,” Moulton said. “Then we looked at everything from two sides: the livability and the recreation.”

Outside is one of hundreds of publications that has written about Chattanooga Real Estate and lifestyle. The Scenic City tends to draw much interest which certainly effects the values of land in Tenneesee.
